I am a multimedia journalist and editor for AFP news agency based in Hong Kong, covering primarily China and the Asia Pacific region.

Previously, I was a digital editor at the South China Morning Post, where I covered equality and diversity issues around the region for the award-winning Lunar newsletter.

I produced several flagship programmes for BBC World News and BBC World Service Radio in London, including Impact (co-produced from Singapore), Ros Atkins’ Outside Source, and Newsroom radio show. I also produced the BBC’s Global News podcast - a lookback on each week’s top stories.

My work has taken me around the world, covering major stories including the Charlie Hebdo Paris attacks, the Germanwings Alpine crash, G20 summits in Sicily, and now to Hong Kong.

I also speak five languages, including Mandarin Chinese, and have begun the uphill struggle of learning Cantonese.
